Apollo API Overview

About Apollo

Apollo is a sales intelligence and engagement platform designed to power your entire go-to-market strategy from one place. By leveraging a vast database of over 230 million contacts and 30 million companies, Apollo provides unparalleled access to detailed business information, data enrichment, and GTM sequencing.

About Apollo API

Apollo API allows you to interact with Apollo functionality and data. Your Apollo plan determines which API endpoints you can use, the rate limits, and credit cost.

You can use Apollo API to:

  • Build integrations: Integrate Apollo's data and features in your own integrations. Use an OAuth 2.0 authorization flow to gain permission to query the endpoints you need on behalf of mutual users. The API offers the ability to retrieve data, create accounts, interact with sequences, and more.
  • Enrich data: Use the enrichment endpoints to perform data enrichment for both people and organizations. Enrich the data of an individual person, organization, or enrich data in bulk.
  • Find people: Use the people search endpoint to query Apollo data and find the exact prospects you need based on demographics filters, including job titles, locations, and seniority.

If you want to partner with Apollo to build an integration, build an OAuth 2.0 authorization flow to retrieve data on behalf of mutual customers.

Regardless of your use case, Apollo's developer docs detail the functionality of each endpoint, including example requests, responses, and credit impacts.

If you'd rather work in your own tooling, you can also download the OpenAPI specification to import every endpoint into Postman or Insomnia, or to generate a client SDK.
